Tangquan Tourist Resort: A Hot Spring Town of Health and Charm in Linyi

“I have been to this place three times. It has a strong hometown feeling, which I enjoy from different perspectives every time I come here.” Guo Meng, a tourist from southern China, told the reporters there. The Guan Tang · Wenshui Village Folk Cultural Park in the Resort area is a complex of five sectors including museums, Hui-styled buildings, art performances and residence. Located in Hedong District of Linyi, Tangquan Tourist Resort is the only provincial-leveled hot spring tourist resort in Shandong Province. With Tangquan Tourism Resort as its main project, Linyi City has won the honorary titles of “China Geothermal City” and “China Hot Spring City”. As a matter of fact, Tangtou Hot Spring in the Resort is one of the “four major natural Class A hot springs” in China.

In recent years, Linyi Tangquan Tourism Resort has opened three hot spring theme hotels, namely Guantang, Zhichunhu and Aowa, focusing on hot spring holidays, rehabilitation and waterfront leisure. There are Zhichunhu hot spring TCM bath and the Aowa hot spring fantasy Bali theme pool, to name a few. Other attractions include Guan Tang Wenshui boot cruise, local museums, Tanghe leisure greenway, city walking trail, and tent camping. Night tourism products are also available such as the sheep festival and Guantang Wenshui street banquet. 6 categories of the high-quality health products like wax bath and salt therapy are offered by Shandong No. 1 Rehabilitation Hospital. 

With 2 national 4A-level tourist attractions, 2 3A-level tourist attractions, 28 high-/mid-end hotels, 6 homestays, 3 rehabilitation and convalescent institutions, and 3 camping sites, the resort has at the moment the capacity to receive 3 million domestic and foreign tourists annually. 

Right now, Linyi Tangquan Tourism Resort is aiming itself at becoming the “China (Linyi) Hot Spring Health City”.
